The Project Manager position requires management and implementation of specific customer accounts and/or programs. Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through customer interaction and constant drive for timely and accurate program status. Increases throughput and maximizes on-time delivery. Responsible for driving the operational execution of programs, cost, changes, processes, and shipment.
Duties/Responsibilities: • Work proactively to anticipate and resolve project issues (internal and external) and escalate when appropriate • Schedule regular team and customer meetings to review the product introduction requests and to ensure complete and accurate product release information for new products. • Cross functional interaction with customer service, engineering and manufacturing to achieve customer satisfaction • Maintain/complete regular reports to customers and management. • Actively work towards process, system, and quality improvement. • Attend internal and external meetings with global teams around the clock. • Other duties upon request.
Required Skills/Abilities: • Operations and/or customer interface experience preferred. • A good understanding of MRP enterprise systems preferred • Good communication skills at all levels; written, oral & presentation skills required. • Ability to speak a second language preferred. • Experience working with other cultures preferred. • Ability to assess and resolve situational problems in a timely manner • Ability to manage multiple issues at one time in professional way • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy • Travel as required • Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Education and Experience • 1-3 years of related business experience • Bachelor's Degree in a technical/business field • Master's degree in Business a plus but not required
Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. • Able to stand, stoop and bend. • Able to sit at desk and use/view computer for prolonged periods time, up to 8 hours daily
