Job Summary:

The Lean Business System Leader will lead the development and implementation of a Lean Business System across all seven manufacturing plants in the U.S. This individual will be responsible for driving a Lean culture, focusing on continuous improvement, waste reduction, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Lean principles and methodologies, a track record of successful implementation in a multi-plant environment, and strong leadership and change management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop & Implement Lean Strategy: Design, implement, and sustain a comprehensive Lean Business System across all manufacturing plants.

Lead Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction, applying Lean tools like Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Six Sigma.

Drive Lean Culture: Foster a company-wide culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams at all levels to own process improvements.

Train & Mentor: Develop and deliver training programs to build Lean capabilities within the organization, from senior leadership to plant-level operators.

Standardize Processes: Ensure the implementation of standardized work, problem-solving techniques, and best practices across all plants.

KPI & Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with Lean principles to track and improve operational performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to integrate Lean thinking into all functions.

Change Management: Lead cultural and organizational changes by promoting the adoption of Lean principles and driving buy-in across the company.

Audit & Sustain Improvements: Conduct regular Lean audits at each plant to ensure the sustainability of implemented changes and identify areas for further improvement.

Travel Requirements: Travel to all seven manufacturing plants to ensure alignment and consistency in Lean initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Strong leadership and change management experience, with the ability to influence at all levels

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.

5+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations, in a leadership role.

Proven track record of implementing and sustaining Lean transformations and familiarity with multisite plant is preferred.

Expertise in Lean methodologies (Kaizen, 6S, Six Sigma, etc.) and continuous improvement practices.

Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Willingness to travel frequently to plant locations.
