LHH is teaming up with a Retail/Grocery company in Emeryville, CA in search of a contract Assistant Planner! This is a HYBRID (in office 1- 2 days per week) position that is expected to last at least 3 months. This position reports to the Senior Inventory Planner.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Capacity to make sound decisions quickly based on limited information.
Proficiency in interpreting various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Intermediate experience with Excel
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Demonstrated concern for achieving positive outcomes and contributing to business growth; willingness to engage in all aspects of the process.
Creative and resourceful mindset, with a willingness to take ownership over assigned categories.
Requirements:
Associates Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field strongly preferred
Previous experience in a planning or administrative role is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Job Type: Contract (expected duration of at least 3 months)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Emeryville, CA (hybrid, in office 2 days/3 days remote per week)
Hours: Full-time, regular office hours
Pay Rate: $22-25/hour, depending on experience
