Job Description:

Assistant Planner (Hybrid, Emeryville)

LHH is teaming up with a Retail/Grocery company in Emeryville, CA in search of a contract Assistant Planner! This is a HYBRID (in office 1- 2 days per week) position that is expected to last at least 3 months. This position reports to the Senior Inventory Planner.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capacity to make sound decisions quickly based on limited information.
  • Proficiency in interpreting various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Intermediate experience with Excel
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated concern for achieving positive outcomes and contributing to business growth; willingness to engage in all aspects of the process.
  • Creative and resourceful mindset, with a willingness to take ownership over assigned categories.

Requirements:

Associates Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a planning or administrative role is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Job Type: Contract (expected duration of at least 3 months)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Emeryville, CA (hybrid, in office 2 days/3 days remote per week)

Hours: Full-time, regular office hours

Pay Rate: $22-25/hour, depending on experience
