Ambassador Personnel is looking for a Clinical Informatics Analyst (CIA) to join our clients team in the Montgomery area.

The Clinical Informatics Analyst (CIA) analyzes how clinical data in a primary care setting is being recorded and managed.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates training for health center staff related to data analysis.
  • Implement applications, tools, and processes that assist clinicians with the management of data in both patient care and the provision of health care.
  • Programs and executes queries within data visualization software.
  • Assist healthcare staff to translate data into clinical and operational improvement.
  • Analyze and interpret data ensuring data validity.
  • Assists in data collection and aggregation of quality assurance/quality improvement data, as it relates to the health care clinical, operational and financial setting.
  • Present data.
  • Functions as in house expert on population health software/tools.
  • Utilize other data sources and products to generate information and reports to support staff, members, and clients.
  • Designs, develops, and documents basic data entry within tracking tools to support organizational needs, projects, work plans, and priorities.
  • Stay informed and educated on advancements in AI use within healthcare and incorporate appropriate healthcare solutions.
  • Assisting in training of healthcare professionals on how to use AI tools and interpret their outputs
  • Medical terminology and understanding of clinical workflows are critical.
  • Must be proficient and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excell, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Advanced reporting, design and development skills in Power BI, Microsoft Access, Tableau and comparable analytics tools.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in health care or related field is required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Health care experience is required with a successful demonstration of quality improvement activities and a desire to work in health informatics.
