The Assistant to Worship & Liturgy provides clerical and logistical support to the Worship & Liturgy department. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills along with the ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the Episcopal faith or the willingness to learn about the Episcopal faith.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Director of Worship Ministries
Help ensure efficient and effective communication between Worship & Liturgy staff, ministry areas (e.g., Music, acolytes, Altar Guild), and volunteers
Maintain calendars and schedules for regular and special Worship & Liturgy services and events, including maintaining eSpace reservations for all services and events
Provide information and direction to parishioners seeking information about baptisms, weddings, and funerals, and maintain registries for these events
Liaise with other departments and ministries (e.g., Operations, Finance, Formation)
