Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Part-Time Insurance Quality Control Specialist to enhance our existing team. In this position, you will play a vital role in meticulously reviewing insurance documents, policies, and claims, verifying their compliance with both company standards and regulatory mandates. Your efforts are crucial in maintaining the high standards of quality and integrity in the services we offer.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct thorough reviews and audits of insurance applications and policies for precision and conformity.
  • Detect any discrepancies and engage with appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Document all quality control activities and findings in detail.
  • Work collaboratively with underwriters to share insights and provide necessary support.
  • Assist in fostering the development and refinement of quality control processes.
  • Coordinate and schedule annual enrollment sessions for current clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Prior experience in quality control within the insurance sector is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail along with strong analytical aptitude.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledgeable about insurance software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • License in Life, Accident, and Health preferred.
  • Degree in finance, business, or a pertinent discipline.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time position, offering 20-25 hours per week, in a hybrid format.

Compensation:

  • Hourly $16.50 - $17.24
