IDR is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Order Processor to join one of our top clients in Newburyport, MA. This role is integral to the Finance department, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of purchasing operations for U.S. operations. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Purchase Order Processor:
Support the Finance department in day-to-day Purchasing operations and services
Ensure compliance with corporate policies related to approval authority, use of approved vendor list, and new vendor additions
Process, check, and reconcile Purchase Orders (POs) for accuracy
Review requisitions to ensure correctness of details, including part and class
Follow established SOPs and maintain attention to detail, particularly with GL account that impacts accounting the part
Required Skills for Purchase Order Processor:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of professional data entry experience in an office environment, specifically relating to purchase orders
Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Preferred experience with Epicor
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
