Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Business Systems Analyst position located in Orlando, FL. This position is a contract hire opportunity which is expected to be a hybrid work arrangement for a duration of six months with possible extension. Candidates must be able to be onsite two days per week. Local candidates are preferred.
Summary
This position focuses on managing and enhancing Human Resources technology programs and policies, primarily within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) area.
The selected Business Systems Analyst will develop, test, document, and maintain reports and business work
flows based on specifications provided. This is an entry-level position that is staffed by personnel
who have had sufficient educational background and/or experience to qualify them.
Job Description:
*Develops, enhances, and tests reports based on specifications. Can write simple to
moderate SQL queries.
*Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
*Communicates and interacts with customer contacts/liaison to increase efficiency and
functionality of software applications.
*Documents applications, technical specifications and user manuals.
*Maintains current technology expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting and Analysis: Review and analyze HR data, producing detailed reports as necessary.
HRIS Management: Oversee the strategic implementation and ongoing management of HR systems, including gap assessments and technology changes.
Training Development: Create training materials and coordinate training for HR community and end-users.
Audits and Reporting: Conduct audits of the HRIS for accuracy and develop management reporting tools.
Support and Inquiries: Address a high volume of inquiries from employees regarding HR systems.
Technical Problem-Solving: Utilize technical knowledge to solve complex problems related to PeopleSoft and HRIS systems.
User Training: Develop and deliver PeopleSoft training across the division.
Qualified candidates would have the following:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or Business Administration
with one year experience in problem analysis. Related experience in system analysis/performance
may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Professional certification in human resources or a related field.
PeopleSoft Experience: Familiarity with PeopleSoft HR Management System and/or KRONOS.
Advanced PeopleSoft Skills: Proficiency in PeopleSoft HR modules, query creation, and as an end user.
Project Management: Strong skills in time management and coordinating multiple projects.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify, interpret, and resolve potential HR-related issues.
Training and Documentation: Experience in developing training materials and technical documentation.
Data Entry: High-volume data entry skills with accuracy.
Production Support: Provide support in a fast-paced payroll environment.
Testing: Lead testing for new or modified systems/processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills
Ability to operate in undefined policy areas and recognize precedent-setting situations.
Knowledge of evaluation and research techniques, along with strong reporting skills.
