We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in IVIg therapy to provide ongoing infusion services for a local patient at home. Hourly pay plus .67 cents per mile travel reimbursement.
Infusion Details:
Medication: Gamunex:Infuse 35 grams intravenously once every 4 weeks.
Length of treatment: 15 Minutes Pre & Post Hydration + 3 Hours & 50 Minutes + prep time
Location: Walbridge, OH 43465
Date of Service: The patient is requesting SOC on any of the following dates:
- 11/14
- 11/15
- 11/18
Access: Port - Curlin Pump
Preferences:
- The patient prefers a MID MORNING start time.
- The patient is comfortable with any experienced RN.
- The RN needs to have experience with ports.
Responsibilities of the PRN Home Infusion RN:
Administer immune globulin infusion therapy to the patient in the comfort of their home.
Leverage your IV expertise to provide high-quality, compassionate care and positively impact the patient's experience.
Deliver one-on-one nursing care visits, offering education and support per the physician's treatment plan.
Maintain clear, professional communication with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and the care team.
Requirements of the PRN Home Infusion RN:
Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
Current CPR certification.
Experience with IVIg therapy, preferably in a home setting.
A valid driver's license, liability insurance, and access to a vehicle for travel.
