White Plains, NY based firm (6 person firm). In-office work expectations.
3-10 years relevant target experience desired. (experience analyzing credits, excel investment modelling, fund due diligence, asset allocation / macro research all very relevant)
Hire will report directly to COO/Head of Research and work closely with CIO/senior analysts/operations.
Multi-strategy + opportunistic investment approach allocating significantly through 3rd party managers (hedge funds, private funds, beta/long only).
Primary workload will include conducting due diligence and monitoring of several existing investments, gaining knowledge of invested markets and improving the firm's understanding in these areas, assisting in due diligence of new investments, client + asset allocation presentations, company operations support tasks.
Strong work ethic + self-start a must.
Well-developed spreadsheet modeling and presentation writing skills essential.
Ideal candidate is a self-starter who is eager to broader their investment, markets, and economics understanding, as well as meaningfully contribute to the growth and development of a small company.
