We're looking for a motivated individual to join our weekend team as a Shift Supervisor Trainee. This position offers an opportunity to grow into a leadership role by learning from experienced team members and supporting daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Team Leadership:
Assist in overseeing weekend operations and staff activities.
Ensure processes are followed to meet productivity goals and service standards.
Provide guidance, support, and feedback to team members.
Operations Management:
Monitor order processing, inventory accuracy, and inbound/outbound shipping activities.
Address issues promptly and escalate to the Operations Manager as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs between shifts.
Training & Development:
Participate in hands-on training to learn standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Shadow supervisors to gain insights into leadership best practices.
Track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or operations environment.
Availability to work weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays).
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift and move packages as needed (up to 50 lbs).
Previous experience in logistics, retail, or warehouse environments is a plus.
