The minimum salary is $26.617 per hour This position is eligible for overtime (non-exempt), if applicable. Pay Grade 520
This position is eligible to receive hazardous duty supplemental pay at $90/month ($0.52 per hour) upon hire.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this classification is to manage constant operation of the pumping system throughout the city, monitoring compliance and implementation of programs in accordance with the consent decree regulations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent supplemented by, specialized courses/training equivalent to satisfactory completion of one (1) year of college education
Four (4) years of related experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Oversees the management of and maintains operations of pump stations equipment, building, wet weather storage tanks (ranging from 2 million to 11 million gallons capacity), odor control, new construction, blue prints, & vendor and construction coordination
Ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations
Develops, recommends and administers budget for Pump Station section
Supervises employees such as mechanics, electricians, and an Electronic/Computer Controls Specialist in the operations
Supervises at worksites providing guidance and/or assistance to facilitate task completion. May give instruction or assignments to employees while in the field
