Job Description:
Location: Des Moines, IA
Salary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $185,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a IT Director to lead the application development, architecture, infrastructure and project management functions across a financial services company.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop strategic relationships with the business to help define opportunities to leverage technology to help foster growth.
- Be a visionary and provide insight and influence into future needs and recommendations how technology can meet the needs of the business.
- Develop budgets for the technology group that align with the business objectives.
- Present to various board members and committees highlighting your strategy and goals you plan to execute on.
- Negotiate and work closely with vendors and partners on emerging tech.
- Manage risk through audits and examinations to help remediate any findings in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related fields.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven history with influencing key decision makers and presentation skills.
- Experience working closely with vendors and auditors.
- Strong background leading and managing multiple projects and teams related to infrastructure support, application development and project management.
- Proven track record in building out and delivering strategic road maps.
- Experience presenting strategic business cases to senior leadership.
