Description: Our Stable and Very Successful Client Is Currently Seeking An EHS Manager For It's Ohio Facility. The Company Is Looking For Local Talent. The Right Candidate Must Have Previous Industrial Manufacturing Experience.




This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist with the development and maintenance of written process safety information identifying workplace chemical and process hazards, equipment used in the processes, and technology used in the process


• Develop, implement, and maintain written safety, health & environmental programs


• Investigate safety, health, and environmental incidents


• Report on the performance of the environmental management system, including environmental performance, to top management
  
  


• Coordinate environmental, health and safety policy with emphasis on protection of health and ecosystems as well as compliance with environmental and health regulations
  
  


• Communicate and assure compliance with Local, State & Federal staff on regulatory matters
  
  


• Working knowledge of safety and environmental codes, OSHA, DEP, EPA regulations, and other regulatory agencies (Lockout-Tagout, Electrical Safety, Ergonomics, Air Quality & Emissions, Energy Management, etc.)


• Experience with Lean Problem Solving (8D or A3), and Root Cause (5 Why Analysis)

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field
  
  
• Minimum 5 years' experience in related environmental compliance responsibility preferably in a manufacturing environment
  
  
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations, management systems, regulatory agencies, trends and resources
  
  
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  
  
• Knowledge of databases and ability to use databases for trending
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
