Signia Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando is looking for a Purchasing Clerk to join the team!

What will I be doing?

Purchases materials for the hotel. Manages levels of supplies. Works with approved vendors to purchase needed materials. Establishes par levels of supplies need by hotel. Purchases maintenance and repair supplies for hotel. Follows approved standards and procedures in buying supplies. Researches prices and supplies of non-mandated items.

• Communicate with Outlet Managers relative to purchases consistent with hotel needs and
  specifications.
• Negotiate pricing and purchase goods and ensure delivery in a timely manner.
• Interview, select, train and supervise staff, including cost control and discipline, to ensurethe smooth operation of the general storeroom.
• Review shipments to ensure products received are consistent orders. Responsible for monitoring grades and quality of products to ensure that they meet the hotel's standards.
