We are looking for a highly skilled individual to serve as a Logistics Analyst in support of our DoD client providing primary acquisition organization for sustaining and modernizing a family of information systems that support logistics chain management (LCM).

Responsibilities
The Logistics Analyst:
Serve as primary advisor to the PdM on logistics matters pertaining to planning, implementation, and execution for a Major Defense Acquisition Program
Provide guidance to the acquisition workforce (Team leads, Systems engineers, and other personnel engaged in Life Cycle Logistics operations)
Direct, develop, or perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating logistical actions required to support the mission
Assist in the development of life-cycle logistics documentation in support of program milestones and other program events
Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations in areas such as cost, schedule, and performance to include analysis of risk, issues and identification of opportunities milestone/action development and program analyst activities supporting programs requirements
Manage areas of the logistics program such as the operations and activities related to equipment/asset management, training, supply, storage, deployment, transportation of materiel and materiel readiness
Track major system or product improvement deployments throughout the logistics chain from early notification through final disposition
Prepare and provide input into the formulation of short and long-range logistics and product support planning
Support logistics audits and audit readiness testing by maintaining, collecting, reviewing, updating, and providing logistics and sustainment documentation
Research and compile logistics assessment information, assist in the development and updates to Sustainment Support documentation to include the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) and Capability Support Plans (CSP) IAW DoDI 5000.02, DoDI 5000.85, DoD Instruction 5000.75, and DoDI 5000.87, and program SOPs
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
A Secret Clearance or eligible to obtain a secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Logistics and/Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience with Marine Corps/Navy logistics processes and data
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working with the Defense Business Systems Requirements and Acquisition cycles
Life Cycle Logistics or Supply Chain Management Certification
