Job Description:

About the Job: The Data Coordinator will assist in gathering data, analyzing inconsistencies, and producing reports to ensure the health care operations are maximizing their revenues and operating efficiently.



Schedule:



M-F 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Hybrid Schedule- 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home).

Essentials:




Wage Analysis
The Data Coordinator will gather the necessary data to compile an analysis reflecting the cost of a proposed wage increase or bonus. This responsibility includes:


  • Communicating with operations at the sites to acquire the necessary information.

  • Compile a spreadsheet sheet for the Financial Analyst showing the cost of the proposed wage adjustment or bonus compared to the amount that was budgeted.




Payroll Analysis




The Data Coordinator is responsible for producing staffing schedules and analyzing the payroll each week. This responsibility includes:


  • Preparing a staffing schedule for the planning process to be completed by the operational team and approved by the Director of Clinical Services.

  • Produce tools that can be used by the operational/clinical team during the year to fluctuate their staffing based on occupancy.

  • Each week produce the payroll analysis report for each location with a closed payroll and highlight areas for concern for the facility and management team.




Rate Maintenance




The Data Coordinator will help maintain the financial set up for the billing system. This responsibility includes:


  • Enter and maintain rates.

  • Communicating with the sites that rates have been updated.


Financial Reports

The Data Coordinator will produce reports based on financial, therapy and payroll data that highlight areas for improvement. This responsibility includes:


  • Gathering Data

  • Updating reports with current information.

  • Production of month end reports that are distributed to the operational management team.

  • Create and update graphs for operational management team.




Planning

The Data Coordinator will assist the Financial Analyst in the development of the health care annual operational budgets. This responsibility includes:


  • Producing the budget format.

  • Inputting historical data.

  • Gathering budget information from accounting.

  • Budgeting the inter-company services sold and purchased.

  • Entering hourly wage rates.

  • Entering the occupancy.

  • Distributing the budget file to the locations for completion and tracking the budget status.


Required Qualifications:



  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in related field.

  • Minimum of two (2) - three (3) years of related experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables), Point Click Care and Great Plains.

  • Ability to work flexible hours.
