Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is looking for a Desktop Support Tech to sit onsite in Madison, NJ.

Job Duties:


  • Desktop Support Tech will provide hands-on user support by troubleshooting hardware and software problems for desktop and laptop computers

  • Configures workstations for new users and upgrades existing equipment and software

  • Sets up and maintains network and telecommunication systems

  • Troubleshoots LAN, server and connectivity issues

  • As a Desktop Support Tech, you will utilize ticketing system, when necessary

  • Re-images computers, performs data migrations and restorations, and conducts remote problem solving as needed







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Experience: Relies on extensive experience to plan and accomplish tasks

  • Must possess a working knowledge of hardware components, hardware configurations, and have strong software experience

  • Presents well

  • Great communication skills

  • Great Follow up

  • Works well independently as well as in a team setting

  • Flexible and able to readjust due to changing priorities in an Executive environment

  • MAC Computer skills

  • Microsoft Office 365

  • Ability to deal with Executives

  • Ability to provide VIP White glove service

  • Onsite (not hybrid or remote) at Corporate Headquarters between 9 and 5:30pm






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
