As an Integration Engineer, you will architect and integrate new products, components, or technologies for Productivity Class Large Mining Trucks. This position performs complex analysis work, identifies design problems, and resolves problems. Although this position may be the transition from individual contributor to team leadership, the major focus is on technical delivery. You will work directly with different units, suppliers, customers, and/or other teams.

What you will do:

  • Design and promote new components and sub-processes.
  • Perform needs analysis and initiate ideas.
  • Evaluate new products or processes.
  • Support product maintenance and improvements.
  • Keep up to date on new technologies and develop new technologies.
  • Communicate technical information to customers, team members, suppliers, and other units
  • Support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, customers, and suppliers.
What Skills you will have:

Systems Thinking: Extensive experience with design, application, integration or product support of mining or heavy equipment. Requires a self-starter with strong technical leadership skills.

Analytical Thinking: Excellent analytical skills and a mastery of engineering concepts.

Effective Communications: Strong technical communication skills to effectively engage and collaborate with global team members and partners.

Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business-related activities.

Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning

Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and the ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, technical or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

Additional Information:

The primary location for this position is Decatur, IL.

Domestic relocation assistance is available.

This position may require 10 % travel.
