Location: Crawfordsville, IN
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, Standard Work Hours
Salary: $115,000- $125,000 + bonus eligible

What You'll Do:

• Champion Safety: Lead the charge in implementing a comprehensive safety program that enhances team performance and aligns with departmental and organizational goals.
• Educate & Empower: Facilitate dynamic safety training sessions for all team members, ensuring everyone is equipped with the tools to prevent accidents and promote a culture of safety excellence.
• Be a Detective: Conduct internal audits and safety investigations to uncover non-compliance and potential hazards, helping us address issues before they become incidents.
• Drive Change: Manage Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) initiatives that inspire a proactive safety culture, while engaging with leadership and employees on performance, incidents, and continuous improvements.
• Lead Environmental Impact: Spearhead projects to minimize environmental waste and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, all while driving innovation in our processes.
• Investigate and resolve: Investigate safety and environmental incidents, crafting root-cause solutions that prevent future issues and safeguard our team.

What You'll Bring:

• Educational Foundation: BS degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven Expertise: 7+ years of hands-on experience leading environmental, health, and safety programs in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
• Compliance Mastery: Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, Title V, and Air permit administration, with a knack for regulatory reporting and recordkeeping.
• Incident Guru: Successfully conducted root cause analysis and incident investigations that led to meaningful, lasting change.
• Workers' Comp Wizardry: 3+ years managing Workers' Compensation claims and processes.
