Support special operations forces by contributing to logistics and ground support systems that ensure the readiness and effectiveness of elite units. This role provides the chance to support high-priority missions, offering insights into the logistics and sustainment of critical defense operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and review contracts related to financial agreements, procurement, and business proposals to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Negotiate contract terms, assess potential risks, and provide guidance to leadership on contract details.
Address contract breaches promptly and act as the primary liaison with external contracting representatives.
Develop and implement procurement proposals, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
Research and stay updated on laws affecting contracts, ensuring all agreements are legally compliant.
Coordinate with clients to ensure contract terms are fully executed and upheld.
Qualifications:
Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance required.
Experience: Proven experience as a Contracts Specialist or in a similar role, with expertise in contract creation, analysis, and monitoring.
Must have PD2 Software experience
Education/Skills:
Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting legal and financial documents.
Knowledge of procurement regulations, legislative and regulatory compliance.
Basic understanding of purchasing, supply chain procedures, and construction techniques.
Experience with PD2 software and contract management tools.
Relevant certifications or training as a Contracts Specialist preferred.
