Details:
Pay range: $50k base + commission (OTE around $83,000)
Schedule: M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm, flexible!
Location: In office in Arden Hills, MN and then open to discussion (must currently live in Minnesota)

Responsibilities:
Answer inbound calls as well as calling on leads, prospecting new clients, and marketing campaigns to build client base
Conduct market research to develop competitive proposals while maintaining strong gross margins for the company.
Collaborate with leading manufacturers and distributors like Lenovo, Synnex, and Google to deliver top-tier solutions.
Represent the company at both regional and national educational conferences.
Utilize the CRM system to document client interactions, manage sales activities, and forecast future opportunities.
Develop a strategic business plan for your territory, focusing on expanding the client base through new account acquisition and growth of existing relationships.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration throughout the pre- and post-sales process.
Requirements:
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality - must want to do new business sales (some account management)
High School diploma or equivalent - Bachelors degree preferred!
2+ years of phone/outside sales experience (Education Technology sales in K12 is a HUGE plus)
Experience with state contracts and RFPs is a plus
Self-motivated and a passion for the education sector
Can effectively facilitate presentations in person or virtually
Ability to travel as needed
Self-study to build industry knowledge and stay on the cutting edge of technology in the educational vertical
