Job Description:

Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to financial management.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.

  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.

  • Minimum [X] years of accounting experience, with at least [X] years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
