Job Description:

Position Overview:
The Purchasing Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the procurement team. This position is responsible for facilitating the timely and efficient acquisition of materials, components, and services necessary for our manufacturing and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to vendor management and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain positive working relationships.


• 
  Purchase Order Management: Assist in the creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.


• 
  Inventory Monitoring: Help maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock and facilitating reorders as needed.


• 
  Data Management: Enter and maintain accurate records in procurement software, including purchase orders, vendor details, and inventory data.


• 
  Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on purchasing activities and inventory status to support decision-making.


• 
  Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and aerospace industry regulations, maintaining appropriate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain roles, preferably within the aerospace industry.


• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
