Responsibilities

What you'll be challenged to do:

Gannett Fleming TranSystems is excited to announce we are actively searching for a CADD/BIM Technician to join our award-winning team in our Fife, Washington office.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Produce project models and drawings relating to low volage and electrical systems for institutional, commercial, industrial, education, and residential buildings.

  • Producing models and drawings for presentations/meetings/submissions.

  • Making corrections to models and drawings from Engineer markups.

  • Coordinating project details (models/designs, building systems) with other design disciplines including architects, Mechanical Engineers, and Civil Engineers.

  • Helping other departments complete assignments.

  • Assisting with field work/site visits.

  • Coordinating printing/plotting requirements for projects.

  • Scanning and copying documents

Qualifications

What you bring to our firm:


  • College or Tech school coursework/training in BIM or other graphics/modeling knowledge preferred.

  • Proficiency using Revit is preferred.  

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Reader (PDF), Word, Excel is preferred.

  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to work overtime when needed.

  • Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.

  • Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible way.

This compensation range is specific to the State of xxx and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; internal peer equity; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Gannett Fleming TranSystems, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $22-$31 per hour.
