Nucor Warehouse Systems- GA is looking for a Painter on 2nd shift Powder Line.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs at Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
The role of the Painter includes, but is not limited to the following:
Responsible for applying powder paint to parts based on job orders, customer specs and other documents.
Verifies all documentation is correct.
Ensures proper thickness and color applied to all parts produced
Cleans paint booth and paint gun in between colors, shift changes, and when there is a gap in the line
Performs general cleanup duties of equipment and surrounding areas
Makes sure powder hopper level remain full
Performs basic material handling duties with pallet jack to move material and stage material
Adheres to all NWS and OSHA safety policies

Minimum Qualifications:
1 year of manufacturing experience
Ability to work standing or walking for up to 10 hours per day.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service.
Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
Ability to adapt to frequent changes of priority and complete job tasks safely and effectively without constant supervision.
Flexible to work overtime, off-hours, weekends, and holidays in an industrial environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous powder coating line experience
