ROLE PURPOSE:  The main purpose of the Media Manager role is to serve as the in-house media expert who develops the paid media strategy and executes campaigns.  This role is accountable for leading strategic and tactical media planning for New Chapter, collaborating with the Sr Media Specialist as an integrated team to ensure media plans are delivered flawlessly in line with our processes and standards.


 


MAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Lead Holistic Media Planning for New Chapter across all media channels such as TV, Print, Audio, Digital, etc. Translate Brand briefs into strategic media plans which meet goals/objectives.

  • Collaborate with brand team, internal stakeholders, and external agencies to deliver campaigns in line with brand plans.

  • Leverage industry planning tools and data to conduct audience identification, analysis and scenario media planning that aligns with the brand marketing strategies & objectives.

  • develop KPI’s, track, and analyze media performance and measure impact across all channels. Report out to key internal stakeholders and adjust tactics, as necessary.

  • Evaluates existing and emerging media opportunities and brings forward recommendations / thought leadership

  • Work successfully with in-house Creative and Brand team for full integration of media and communications plans to execute a rich content strategy.

  • Lead Media Operations including, budget management, stewardship of media buy (PO management) proof of performance and budget actualization.

  • Partner with sales/customer teams to develop and execute effective shopper marketing programs.

  • Partner with DTC team to ensure all technical back-end work is complete and accurate for data collection and attribution on media campaigns (GTM, APIs, etc.).

  • Own media stewardship: ensure compliance with brand safety standards and legal regulations (CCPA, etc.)

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CREDENTIALS:



  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing in Consumer Package Goods industry preferred.

  • 3+ years of strategic media planning experience – managing digital advertising or other significant experience in Paid Social Platforms and ad campaigns on Google Search, YouTube, and display. Bonus points for experience managing video ads on other platforms.

  • Experience working in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

  • Strong MS Office skills such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. 


 


JOB LOCATION: Within travel distance to Brattleboro, Vermont, in a hybrid work environment with at least 2 days per week in office.
