We offer Fixed Rate, ARMs, SONYMA, FHA, VA/USDA, Construction and end loans, 203k etc.
The primary focus of this position is to self-generate external relationships within the real estate community to increase purchase and refinance loan applications. Originates/completes mortgage loan applications, collects up front fees and commits loan for processing. Gathers necessary loan documents. Consults with applicants on various types of mortgage financing products and programs. Assists the applicant to choose the program best suited for the applicants needs by determining the applicant's ability to qualify using information on the credit report, income and assets. Manages the rate lock expirations to ensure the loans are closed, funded, and sold to the secondary market prior to rate lock expiration.
INTRODUCTORY SALARY, for the first 12 months employees are paid $1,923.08 per full pay period ($50k annualized) while ramping up mortgage volume. Staff would receive bi-weekly compensation plus any commissions earned. Upon completion of that time, the compensation plan will change to commission minus a bi-weekly draw of $1,850.00 per pay period. Commission will be paid on all leads however the focus is on self-generated leads (75 basis points). Eligible for annual loan volume bonus based on the calendar year.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED or higher plus prior experience within the mortgage industry with demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends and able to travel to all branches and outside mortgage locations when needed. Reliable transportation including a valid NYS Driver's License.
