Health Career Connection (HCC) is a national non-profit that inspires and empowers undergraduate students, recent graduates, and HCC alumni, particularly those from under-represented or disadvantaged backgrounds, to choose and successfully pursue authentic healthcare and public health careers. We achieve this by connecting talented and diverse future health professionals and leaders to real-world experience, exposure, mentoring, and networking through paid summer internship opportunities. Internships usually begin in June and last for 10 consecutive weeks through the summer. Specific start and end dates depend on intern's academic calendars. HCC interns support priority projects in public health, health care, behavioral health, advocacy and life sciences. Our mission is to increase the number of diverse, value-driven health leaders and professionals capable of solving complex health challenges. We hope to inspire students & young professionals to give back to their communities and to others in the health career pipeline. TO APPLY, CLICK HERE.
