Position Summary


The Supply Chain Manager will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and ensuring a seamless flow of materials and products within our chemical manufacturing enterprise. This hands-on position requires a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced SME environment, chemical industry is preferred but varying industries will be considered with relevant experience.



Key Responsibilities :





  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, scheduling, warehousing, and logistics.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, providing mentorship and coaching to foster professional growth.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and optimize supply chain processes.




Qualifications :





  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in supply chain roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership position.

  • Proven track record of delivering results in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) environment, preferably within the chemical manufacturing industry.

  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex initiatives.

  • Proficiency in procurement, vendor management, contract management, warehouse and inventory management, planning and scheduling, S&OP processes, and SAP (ideally as a key user).

  • Knowledge of ISO certification standards and their implementation.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to coach and develop team members.

  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
