Handle the details of an assigned construction project, such as planning, budgeting, supervising, directing and coordinating. The Project Manager will supervise the entire project from its beginning stages and oversee its progress.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Costing
Scheduling
Managing the Builder Owner
Supervise Staff
Read and interpret project specifications
Enforce site safety at all times
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ability to give direction to employees in all areas of the project assigned. The role of the Project Manager is to make sure that every aspect of the job on the project gets done effectively and on schedule. The Project Manager will demonstrate a complete understanding of the business operation. The Project Manager will need to have a presence on assigned project site.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
15+ years of heavy construction experience
Knowledge of all major agencies (MTA, DEP, DOT, Port Authority)
