Meets daily with project crews to review production schedule and confirm all materials, equipment and resources are readily available for production to continue on schedule and within budget.
Collects, coordinates and analysis shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements and project data through the duration of the project to ensure quality and contract specification compliance.
Provides technical input for project work plan and scheduling. Identifying risk elements of production, materials, equipment or process that could negatively impact the budget or schedule
Detailing schedules
Attend meetings with the utility owners, client and the construction management team
Maintaining accurate records, including meeting minutes
Cataloging all outstanding issues to completion
Assigning priorities to responsible persons
Make calculations in planning or assessing conflicts
Cost control management, including managing budgets for projects, handling submission of pay forms and approving invoices.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 6 (six) years of experience as Field Engineer at minimum
• 2 Two years' experience managing people and processes
• Strong communication skills; verbal, written and presentation
• Solid computer skills; Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, P6, and design software
• Ability to use critical thinking to solve complex engineering challenges
• Exceptional organization skills
• Ability to create and manage schedules
Full Compensation Package: $140,000- $180,000 per year
