About the Role

Essity Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Safety Specialist at our manufacturing facility in Bordentown, NJ

We're looking for people who embody our values, aren't afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. We're always looking for ways to improve our products and ourselves. If this is you, we'd love to talk. 
 

What You Will Do

• Is a Role Model for Safety;


• Is a strong ambassador of the I Care program;


• Is the advisor of the operational teams on Risk, Safety and Health topics, with the aim of creating a strong and sustainable culture on site;


• Collaborates with the global RESH organization and implements initiatives on the site;


• Ensures that compliance to legal obligations and company standard is maintained and regularly reviewed;


• Spends reasonable and qualitative time in the operational areas to drive cultural changes;


• Fosters continuous improvement through reapplication of good practices from internal and external benchmark;


• Acts as business partner to the operational teams;

Who You Are·

• EHS safety related certification preferred;


• Strong understanding of health & safety practices and regulations;


• 1+ years of experience in health and safety;


• Effective communication skills;


• Ability to implement risk, health, and safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and lead incident investigations;


• Understanding of local, national and industry specific risk, health, and safety regulations;



•  Ability to drive a safety conscious culture.

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Compensation:

$70,000 - $90,000 annual salary range + annual incentive bonus + benefits.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
