The Risk Management & Compliance team is responsible for implementation of the Global Risk Management & Compliance Program at Arthrex. We are searching for a Risk Management & Compliance intern to support the various functions of a compliance program, including compliance auditing, monitoring, data analytics, investigations, and compliance operations. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have clear and concise writing skills, and have an interest in or experience working with complex data. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.

This internship will run from May 2025 - August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Main Objective:

To educate on the compliance risks related to the medical device industry and expose the individual to opportunities for a career in compliance while supporting the department in all aspects of its compliance program, including monitoring and auditing, investigations, and compliance operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing and reporting on audits.


• Support drafting of policies and procedures.


• Assist with coordinating live monitoring opportunities and report on these monitoring activities.


• Provide general support to team as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Progress towards a college degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or Data Science/Analytics required. A college junior, senior or graduate student preferred. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)


• Experience in analyzing data preferred.


• Experience or interest in compliance audit preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills required. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
