Position Summary...


What you'll do...


  • Lead the global network automation and telemetry teams at Walmart

  • Understand and explore our various networks - from stores to distribution and fulfillment centers, to campuses

  • Work cross-functionally with the entire Platforms organization to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and execute on development efforts

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a high performing and collaborative team culture

  • Do proof-of-concepts and provide strategic and technical recommendations

  • Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, conducting research to identify emerging tools and methodologies

  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders on specific product areas

  • Collaborate with product and business leaders throughout the company to ensure that technology initiatives align with business needs

  • Document architectural decisions, design patterns, policies, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing across the broader organization.




What you'll bring:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


  • Strong experience leading network automation and/or telemetry initiatives in large networks


  • Experience managing a multi-vendor network, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and SONiC

  • Proven experience (5 years) as a Senior Architect or in a similar leadership role within a technology-driven organization and experience (5 years) as a people manager.

  • Extensive knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.

  • Expertise in cloud computing platforms, such as Azure or Google Cloud, and related technologies.

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, or Python.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing large-scale, complex architectural projects from conception to implementation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.

  • Proven ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Sunnyvale, California US-04397:The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00




























Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
