Schedule/Location:



The Senior Manager will work in a hybrid capacity with weekly meetings onsite at the Mass General Brigham headquarters (Assembly Row in Somerville MA). In addition, frequent travel to various Mass General Brigham Medical Group locations across the region. Possible nights and weekend hours when needed.


Due to the hybrid nature of the role, we ensure that our employees receive required technology and training to be proficient and independently productive in all job responsibilities regardless of work location. Employees are responsible for designating a workspace within the remote work location that is private, safe, ergonomic, and free from distractions for all hours worked.



The Opportunity:



We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Manager to oversee facilities projects across our network of ambulatory healthcare sites. This role will involve managing day to day facilities operations, small capital project < 100k, and maintenance (MEP) projects from inception through completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The Senior Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and leadership to ensure that all facilities are fully optimized to meet the growing demands of healthcare delivery.



Key Responsibilities



  • Provide general overall facility management services including monitoring of office, clinical and public spaces & grounds.

  • Lead & support implementation of Medical Group Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

  • Coordinate small capital and routine projects across various ambulatory healthcare sites.

  • Respond and manage daily facilities requests for a defined region of ambulatory sites as assigned via CMMS.

  • Liaison with Medical Group leadership to develop and manage project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee the management of contractors, vendors, and service providers, ensuring that all work is performed to high-quality standards and complies with healthcare regulations.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and ensure that safety, quality, and regulatory compliance are maintained.

  • Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to ensure that facility design and construction meet the needs of patient care and operational workflows.

  • Prepare and present project status reports to leadership, providing updates on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.

  • Ensure that projects meet all applicable codes and standards, including healthcare regulations, environmental sustainability, and ADA compliance.

  • Implement cost-saving strategies and efficient resource allocation to maximize the impact of capital expenditures.






Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree required. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, LEED, or Healthcare Constructor Certification) is a plus.

  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on facilities management in healthcare. Related environment will be considered.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating teams in a multi-site environment.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in healthcare facilities (e.g., Joint Commission, ADA, OSHA) and experience ensuring compliance preferred.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM, or other relevant platforms).
