Job Description:

Volt is hiring an Industrial Engineer Manager for our client in Brimfield, Illinois. Our client is the world's leading manufacturer of specialty transport carriers sold worldwide.

As an Industrial Engineer Manager, you will:

• Oversees fixture & tooling designs requested by manufacturing and for new product
• Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines, including EPA and OSHA requirements.
• Support the manufacturing floor by fulfilling their requests and aiding in process improvement
• Oversees program and setup on various CNC machines including Turning Centers, Horizontal Machining Centers, CNC Milling Centers.
• Overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of manufacturing bills of material, manufacturing routings, fixtures, tooling, and all associated standards.
• Collaborates with manufacturing and engineering departments to ensure manufacturability of designs.
• Collaborate with production planning to optimize production sequencing.
• Implements methods and modifications to reduce production time and costs

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Thorough understanding of the use and application of standards and specifications including ISO 9001, AS9100, Nadcap, ITAR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and FDA 21CFR Part 820.

Salary is between $80000.00-90000.00 per year.
