The Career Navigator will plan and facilitate career readiness and job placement activities to meet individual’s employment goals, setting clients up for long-term career satisfaction. This position will work in collaboration with Goodwill staff to provide training and employment opportunities for Adult Workforce Program participants. The Career Navigator will provide intake, assessments, workshops, and job search support, with a focus on job
coaching and career development to meet the goals of the program and program participants.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Status: Full-time
Location: Lawrenceville Workforce Development Center - 118 52nd Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201
External Hiring Range: $18.25-$18.98/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday (8:00am – 4:00pm) Schedule can vary depending on department needs.
Travel Required: Occasional travel is required to Goodwill and community sites in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Required Experience: Experience working with job seekers and/or employers in a job placement function. Public speaking and selling/negotiating
skills required.
