The State of Nebraska Department of Administrative Services is looking for a motivated individual to joint our Print Shop Team as a Printing Technician II. This position will set up, adjust and operate various digital printers and bindery equipment to include paper cutter, folder, collator, mail inserter, inkjet, tabber. Will perform quality control of printed items before shipping. Will order and maintain supplies and paper for the work area. Maintain effective working relationships with other employees.

Job Duties: Set up, adjust and operate various digital equipment, binding, reproduction machines related to printing. Performs quality control review of printing and copying requisitions for accuracy. perform' routine maintenance of digital and bindery equipment. Move heavy boxes and stacks of paper using electric pallet jack, hand pallet jack or two wheel dolly. Perform a wide variety of printing, copying and bindery work to include mail inserters, inkjet. Complete work forms and logs All other duties assigned within the scope of the classification.



Requirements / Qualifications




Minimum Qualifications: Three years of relative experience.



Preferred Qualifications: Bindery operations to include operating paper cutter, folder, collators, 3 hole drills, spiral binding punches and coilers, shrink wrapper, digital printers and copy machines.



Other:Regular and Reliable attendance is required. Schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm Must be flexible during Legislative sessions.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Principles of digital printing, and finishing work. Electronic data processing, mail operations various types of paper, inks, chemicals and applications used int printingmmail operations
