STANDARD HOURS: 24 hours per week; Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.



PAY RANGE: $16.36 - $18.67 per hour



*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.




POSITION SUMMARY


This position is responsible for planning and facilitating the Student Involvement activities and programs. In addition, the position supports marketing efforts of the campus through creation of content, materials and use of social media. On occasion, the position will assist students in the Welcome Center.

Essential Functions Statement(s)



  • Coordinate a professional Student Involvement program that provides social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities for the student body. Provide a holistic college experience that engages a diverse student body.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including all NWTC campuses and RLC's for planning and implementing Student Involvement programming. Procure all related resources, supplies and prizes associated with events and activities.

  • Monitor the Student Involvement budget.

  • Maintain a campus calendar of all Student Involvement events and dates, prepare publicity and market student events.

  • Publicize campus and student events, program information, community and other campus news as a core member of the social media planning team.

  • Provide student development programs and services that encourages personal development and growth.

  • Create connections with students to become a link to services, support and resources that will increase academic readiness, progress and success.

  • Provide support and direction to Student Clubs and Student Club Advisors.

  • Plan, organize and implement large scale special events for NWTC Sturgeon Bay including commencement, program orientation, graduate luncheon, annual student holiday dinner and student awards recognition.

  • Assess student satisfaction with campus events, activities, and organizations.

  • Collaborate with internal staff on the community resource coalition team to create and promote support for students through community organizations.

  • Provide back up support at the Welcome Center desk when needed.

  • Process student and employee photo ID's.

Education: Associate Degree

Experience: Two years related work experience
