Job Title:Industrial Control Systems AdministratorDepartment:James | CCCT James Facility Services

Responsible for design, support, and consultation on medical center facility Industrial Control Systems, including building HVAC controls, lighting controls, power monitoring, nurse call, pneumatic tube, trash, and linen systems. Works collaboratively with IT (Information Technology) to manage facilities ICS network topology, servers, applications, and devices. Consults with and advises facilities management and other third parties on topics related to ICS network architecture and strategy. Develops and maintains facilities servers, applications and databases including configuring alarms, reports, trends, and backups. Develops and maintains department security policies and practices, performs regular audits and self-assessments against med center IT compliance and industry standards. Maintains records of department assets, creates a continuous development plan for department growth, disaster recovery and new ICS technologies. Remains current in ICS technologies and security by continuous education which may include certifications conferences and other educational resources. Assists technicians in troubleshooting ICS network communication issues, including BACnet and Ethernet. Provides department support on IOS, Windows and desktop applications. Reviews and tests (PlugTest) vendor supplied hardware and software to facilitate feasibility studies on operation and communication over existing networks.





Minimum Education Required


Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience




Required Qualifications


4 years of relevant experience required. In-depth knowledge of BACnet systems to include complex building HVAC system applications, LANs commands/configurations, alarming, scheduling, proprietary interfaces, integration, and system management. PC operation and workstation software. Formal network training or 4 years exp working with network configurations and troubleshooting. Broad knowledge of a variety of Direct Digital Control systems. Knowledge of UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) and Management Cards. Knowledge of server setup and maintenance. Knowledge of IP infrastructure and hands on experience with IP Networks.
