Software Engineer, Systems ML - PyTorch Performance and Engagement Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to high-impact projects at the intersection of ML, PyTorch development, and community engagement
Develop and maintain CUDA MODE, one of the world's largest ML systems communities
Organize and execute ML competitions across performance, on device, fine tuning and code generation
Contribute to the development of state-of-the-art code-generation models with open-source principles
Improve and expand Torchao, our PyTorch quantization and performance library
Initiate and grow new projects and communities within the PyTorch ecosystem
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Extensive experience with PyTorch and machine learning systems
Proven programming skills, particularly in Python and CUDA
Preferred Qualifications:
Master/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
Contributions to prominent open-source ML projects
Experience organizing technical competitions or conferences
Track record of publications in top-tier ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)

$56.25/hour to $173,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
