General Cardiology Float Position at Wellstar Health Systems in Austell, Georgia

Facility: Cobb Hospital



Wellstar Center for Cardiovascular Care is seeking a licensed and experience ACNP or PA to join our busy Cardiology practice in Metro Atlanta. This position will be based out of our Cobb office in Austell, Georgia, however it is a float position, and candidates must be willing to travel to any of our office locations throughout metro Atlanta as needed.


Job Responsibilites and Details:


Manage and coordinate the healthcare of cardiology patients, in an inpatient setting at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.


This is a dedicated Weekend position.


Collaborate with other health care providers in an interdisciplinary approach to provide care to the patient and family.


Perform admissions, transfers and discharges for the cardiology patients.


Actively participate in the daily medical management of patients.


Become thoroughly competent in all aspects of stress testing.


Document, maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information in our EMR system (EPIC). Other duties as assigned.


Other duties as assigned by lead provider and operations team.


Ideal candidates will have some inpatient and cardiology experience, be a team player, and able to work autonomously as needed.


Position will entail working a combination of day shifts, night shifts and weekend shifts as needed.


The Wellstar Center for Cardiovascular Care is the largest and most comprehensive provider of cardiovascular services in northwest Georgia. The Center includes 10 hospitals and 26 office locations throughout metro Atlanta.
