Job Description:

Our Vancouver client is growing and looking for a temporary Cost Accountant to join their cost accounting team. This team is high energy, fun, and enjoy working with each other and the organization prides itself in his reputation in the market and product offerings. This role is onsite for training and then hybrid with occasional in office work post training. Candidate must reside in Portland/Vancouver area for consideration.


As the temporary Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Oversight of the cost accounting functions for a plant, develop costing standards, analysis and monthly review


• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting duties as required


• Review, reconcile and maintain perpetual inventory system


• Additional duties as required by the Cost Accounting Manager

To be considered for this role you bring:

• A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business


• 1+ year of experience as a Cost Accountant or Inventory Accountant in a manufacturing environment


• Self-starter, team player who enjoys data, and analysis

Role is 3-6 months, compensation is DOE but $75-100K, full benefits on first day of assignment as an Ambassador of Ledgent!
