Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities: Work in an environment where you can design the architecture and develop solutions to meet the organization's needs while enhancing your skillset and advancing your career. Looking for an innovative, and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on Linux administration experience, knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies, works well in a small team setting, has a desire to automate processes where possible, and a willingness to think outside the box to find solutions.
Required skills:
Experience performing Linux server administration tasks including configuring, patching, monitoring, trouble shooting, etc.
Experienced with one or more of the following scripting languages:
Python
Perl
Bash
PowerShell
Experience with automating repetitive tasks with Bash and Python scripts.
Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners.
Work to be performed in Laurel, MD.
Desired skills:
Experience with Puppet and Ansible
Experience with AWS EC2 Auto Scaling
Experience with aws-cli and boto3
Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)
Required Qualifications: Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+, CCNA)

Our Linux Administrator - Scripting (SA2) (Government) earns between $89,200 - $174,850 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
