We are seeking an Audiologist at our Honolulu, HI clinic to help ensure our service members get the best care possible. You will play a vital role in the continued care of these men and women. 


Your Role at Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska:


As an Audiologist with Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska, a Leidos QTC Health Service affiliated professional corporation, you will apply the principles of hearing science and audiology to formulate an Independent Medical Opinion (IMO) and/or independent medical exam to a unique examinee population. The scope of practice of the audiologist is to provide a professional opinion to the severity of the hearing problem, the diagnosis, the causation, and assessing the probability that the hearing problem is related to occupational exposure.


Pay Range:



  • Salary: $90k-$170k w/ quarterly bonus eligibility (Based on combination of relevant experience, education, and other relevant qualifications) 


Work Schedule, Location, and Other Information:  



  • Generally M-F, 8 working hour day (between 7am -6pm), with weekend/evening schedules based on operational needs.

  • Comprehensive onboarding and training program with progressive encounter complexity as job understanding and skills develop

  • Up to 50% national travel

  • Fully staffed clinic to support operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for administering and interpreting a variety of tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, such as air and bone conduction, and speech reception and discrimination tests, the site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech.

  • Evaluate test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational and conduct medical record reviews of past audiograms and documents to determine the likely cause of the hearing loss, and to state the prognosis and address the issues of hearing loss and tinnitus.

  • Operate computerized programs and utilizes application software and databases in order to enter, modify, and access information into/from electronic medical records, and utilizing report writing formats.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality with written and verbal information per HIPAA.

  • Responsible for conducting otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment.

  • Lead paraprofessional staff training for Audiology specific skills and certifications as required by all LOB.

  • Completion of Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs).

  • You will also have the ability to travel (up to 50%) to provide audiology examinations for clients in multiple locations throughout the country.

  • Analytical ability necessary to evaluate and render medical opinions.

  • Technically competent with computers/tablets to include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and using Electronic Medical Records.

  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts


Required Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)



  • Doctorate Degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university

  • Current unrestricted Audiologist license in the state where you will be employed

  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification prior to hire. Reimbursement provided for selected candidates.

  • 3+ years of clinic practice experience.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearances (LARS, Public Trust, NACI, etc.) as required.

  • Ability to pass a medical clearance consisting of passing an N95 respirator fit test, properly wearing organizational standard respiratory protective equipment as required, passing a Tuberculosis/TB test, and receiving a Hepatitis A/B vaccine series or passing a Hepatitis A/B Titer test and other medical clearances/vaccinations as required.   

  • Ability to earn and maintain clinical training/certifications as required by current and future contracts.
