Job Description:


As a Database Engineer, you will:

• Consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Database Engineering.


• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Database Engineering deliverables.


• Review and analyze moderately complex Database Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.


• Resolve moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Database Engineering deliverables.


• Leverage a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.


• Collaborate with client personnel in Database Engineering.

Job Expectations:

• Provide 12x7 on-call support.


• Work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.


• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.


• Work on-site at the stated location.


• This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.


• 5+ years of Oracle database administration experience.


• 2-4 years of Oracle Migration skills.


• 2-4 years of Performance Engineering experience.


• 4-6 years of Oracle experience.


• 4-6 years of Database administration experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of PostgreSQL administration experience.


• 5+ years of experience with database engineering functions.


• 3+ years of experience with MongoDB, GoldenGate, or Yugabyte.


• 2+ years of performance tuning experience.


• Experience monitoring databases for errors such as existing locks and failed updates.


• Experience leading and driving automation initiatives.


• 2-4 years of monitoring experience.
