A Day in the Life

We are looking for a Technology Adoption Consultant to drive innovation and performance through learning and technology initiatives.
You will work in an environment of high change and have the capacity for success in a diverse, complex, and changing environment. You will work with a variety of partners and stakeholders to set, lead, support, and manage successful change initiatives in service of learning and talent technology platforms. Your work will support the execution of our global learning and leadership development strategy and enable learning and talent strategies across the globe.

This position can reside in any US Medtronic office location or work remote.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Training Facilitation Manager to lead our global team of facilitators and personally deliver high-impact training programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in training facilitation, team leadership, and program development. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive training initiatives that align with our organizational goals and enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Leadership and Team Management:


  • Lead, mentor, and manage an experienced team of global training facilitators.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

  • Set clear goals and hold team members accountable.

  • Provide constructive feedback to support program performance and employee career goals.

  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of the facilitation team.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with critical stakeholders around the globe.

Training Program Delivery:


  • Personally deliver high-quality training programs to diverse audiences.

  • Utilize various training methodologies to ensure effective learning.

  • Track effectiveness of training sessions and partner with program managers to improve curriculum where necessary.

Global Coordination:


  • Assess program demand and coordinate training schedules and logistics to meet needs of the organization, as well as respective geographies.

  • Ensure consistency and standardization of training programs globally.

  • Ensure responsible and timely budget management in collaboration with program managers.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:


  • Influence selection of key performance indicators for training programs.

  • Monitor and analyze training data to assess effectiveness and ROI.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on training activities and outcomes.

Work Environment


  • Travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Ability to travel internationally as required.

  • Willingness to conduct business in non-business hours to accommodate team schedules.

MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in training facilitation and 5+ years of managerial experience, or, an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience in training facilitation and 5+ years of managerial experience

NICE TO HAVE:


  • Master's degree preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD)

  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus

  • Proven track record of navigating and collaborating within a complex global organization

  • Ability to establish credibility and relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent client consulting and partnership skills

  • Strong organizational/prioritization skills - attention to detail

  • Visionary with strong execution capabilities

  • Proven experience in leading and managing a global team

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$137,600.00 - $206,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
