Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with over 10 years of experience in overseeing ground-up and remodeling healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during construction.
Ensure effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on healthcare projects.
Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
OSHA-30 certification or equivalent safety training is required
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
