Now hiring for a SMT AOI/Inspector in the City of Gardena!
As a SMT Operator, you will:
Hand Soldering, Solder touch-up and Rework of a wide variety of thru-hole and SMT electronic assemblies in a quick turn OEM environment
Perform FPI, and In-line inspection, and Solder Touch-up of assemblies after SMT reflow
Operates SMT AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) machine for component placement and solder joint defects
Visually inspect by using a magnification microscope for a populated Printed Circuit Boards and identify component misplacement and solder defects per customer requirements and IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 standards
Read; Verified Blue Print and interpret Customer BOM; Assembly Drawings; Assembly Instructions, and apply documented quality system procedures
Certified to IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 • Willing to work overtime when needed • Willing to be able to work between the hours of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Hours could change due to workload
Follows verbal instructions from supervisor
Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to complete work in a timely manner, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and promote quality
Must be consistently at work on time
Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision
Must be proficient in English
Job Type: Full-time
Shift & Schedule: Monday through Friday 6am-2:30pm
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with most tools and equipment in a machine shop, including Lathes, Grinders, Saws, Debarring Equipment, Various Measuring Tools, Must be able to read and write in English.
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
